It is recommended that you create a Guestmate Device for every tablet you wish to use to show Event Guestbooks. After creating a Device in Guestmate, you will be given a link to open on a matching tablet for that Device. From that point, you can manage what Event Guestbooks are accessed from the tablet by updating the Device you loaded onto it.
Devices are ideally setup once and then can be managed using the Administration UI.
The general steps to setup a Device are:
- Create a new Device in Guestmate for one of our tablets (click here for more info) and open the Device URL on the tablet (click here for more info)
- Create an Event for a service happening this weekend
- Assign the Event to the Device
- The Events Guestbook will appear on the tablet ready to use
